Not out of ALMS, just P2. They remain in GT2, there are also going to compete in Grand AM. There just changing thing up a little. If you always win the same thing over and over people win stop watching.
That's it for the Spyder? I thought for sure they would want to win the overall championship this year even if Acura was entering P1. Lame.....
BTW, I hate Grand Am, ugliest cars in the world. I wish they would broadcast the GT3 Cup series.

The RS Spyder was a 3 year project(as a lot of their other cars have been). The formal announcement was made before laguna this year. Penske is still going to run porsche engines in prototype bodies... Dyson switching to Mazda is a little weird but, whatever. This isnt big news. I would expect another P2 car out of porsche for the 2010 season.
I'm hoping they might put the Spyder V8 in a road car (say, the Cayman) and turbocharge it (because it has so little torque). What a car that would make. I've heard Porsche might come back for 2010 with a P1 car. That would be nice. They need another overall win at Le Mans. It's been too long.

IMO grand Am is some of the best racing I have ever seen. I would also like to see the GT3 cup too though.
