60k, prob not man. I think it will be in the 70's at that point. I'm looking to spend mid 80's this spring.

My 2 cents

I was not a huge porsche person prior to buying my 997 turbo. However after adding the mods to it the turbo is so awesome I would never sell it because of how awesome it is and I can see myself keeping the car for 10 to 20 years or never selling it. These cars are toys so you need to pay for them in cash and forget about the resale or what price you can get for it. If you are worrying about the resale and about the trade in you had no business buying the car. I am not trying to insult anyone so do not take it the wrong way.

In 3+ years they will be up to 50% off original price. Rising unemployment, salary reductions, rapidly reduced portfolio values, you name it are all creating the perfect storm for a buyers market.

I agree with you - I don't worry at the time of purchase what it may be worth down the road, or how many miles i'm putting on it. It's called disposable income for a reason

Besides, while the TT prices may be tanking, the cars I may consider replacing it with are doing the same.

A decent deal "now"<now> in a private-party sale for a well optioned
excellent condition 130K MSRP car with ~5K miles is <85K.
An OK condition ~20K miles car would prob be <75K.

Same cars at a dealer : +10K more</now>

Thanks, I appreciate the auction lists.

But man theres only one in manheim in january! Shows how rare they are at the auction, and prob less likely that I'll get the options/color that I want.
