Why was the thread closed? Can't people have a spirited debate without labeling it as product bashing or war? A lot of good info was coming out.

 

Yea, it was good, but the tone of the AWE guys went over the top. Sour grapes. I used to have the GIAC flash and loved it when it wasn't blowing MAF's. The debate is great and it's unfortunate when a bad attitude overshadows the information being offered.

It's not sour grapes, but it certainly can be frustrating with all the background politics. I apologize if that shows through too easily.

We really wanted a honest and open discussion about the pros and cons of each brand, and we're all for continuing an on topic thread.

There is a vast difference in the feature set of each brand.

I suggest the forum nominate a disinterested third party to moderate the thread and perhaps ask questions on behalf of the forum. However, it really has to be a disinterested third party and not a 6speed forum moderator.

Does that work?
