Rennline Aluminum Pedals Installed

I just installed a 4-piece Rennline Aluminum pedal set and they look great! Installation was straight forward and thanks to Canaga for his installation posts.

I did notice that the brake pedal does sit slightly higher than the clutch pedal (~1/8 inch). If you align the Rennline clutch and brake pedal covers to the bare OEM backs (removal of the OEM covers), this causes the Rennline Aluminum brake cover to sit higher than the clutch. If I was to lower the Rennline brake pedal cover, then the bare OEM brake pedal top edges in the back would show (it's shaped like a "V" where you drill into).

I wanted to check if you see a height difference for your OEM pedals and aftermarket pedals. I did a search on other 997's and TT's and they also show a slight height difference (from the floor); I don't think it's the angle of the pic. What does your clutch and brake pedals look like......OEM and after market?

See my Pic of a straight-on shot.

In any rate, they look great!

I installed this set up about a year ago. Heel and toe has been made easier with the adjustable gas pedal. I raised it up so it's closer to the brake pedal. With screws longer than what are supplied you could raise to be even with the brake if you wanted (but why?) The one problem I have encountered is the little rubber ******* keep coming out of the dead pedal. I'm looking into some sort of glue/adhesive to prevent this. I haven't noticed any height difference between the brake and clutch pedals, although there could be.

My only regret is the dead pedal covers up my optional $250 Porsche Aluminum Foot Rest.

I also like the Aluminum Race Matts Adds a nice race touch to it. The pedals are great.

I talked to Rennline yesterday and the reason the rubber ******* are coming out is that I have screwed the dead pedal down to tight and it forces them out of their hole.

Makes sense. I lost one not too long ago. I guess mine is on too tight.

Looks awesome.. Im looking to get the perforated ones... The only thing is I wonder how much of the original pedals will appear through the perforations... Anyone have pics of the black powder coated ones with black interior?
