Urgent Does anyone know this Car
Wow..... Straight form my heart and my family and friends from Puerto Rico, and, if a may, all 6speed members... Our deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the victim. Really a sad story. May this story help us reflect on the importance of knowing everything has its place. Racing is for the Race track, public ways are for commuting and there is no excusable argument for this things to happen. RIP
My prayers go out to the families...
what sucks to think about is there is somebody out there that got away, I dont know how a person could get back to living a "regular" life after killing 2 people, and not paying the consequence. I bet every door bell that rings has him nervous, rightfully so, I hope that one of them is the authorities in the near future.

he says he wasnt driving. how fitting.
also, note the text about his criminal record:
Ryan LeVin, 34, is shown in a 2006 mugshot taken after his arrest by the Chicago Police Department. Police accused him of reaching 100 mph during a July 31, 2006 chase. He pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing. (Chicago Police Department Photo / February 19, 2009)

Let me get this straight. In 2006 he instigated a highspeed chase and "struck several vehicles and injured a police officer and two motorist." Why exactly does he have his license?
I would love to be in the Ft. Lauderdale jury pool right now.

This case is truly tragic. I think we all hope the guilty party is identified and punished.
Also tragic is the presumption of guilt set forth in this forum regarding the owner of the car. Presumption of innocence is a fundamental right in most democracies. I think we should all be careful about assuming someone is guilty just because the few facts at our disposal MIGHT indicate so.
Remember, people convicted of murder and on death row have been completely exonerated by modern DNA technology.
My hope is that the guilty party will be brought to trial soon. Then we may know.

Yes I must agree.. Past mistakes should not be used to past judgment for guilty behavior. Although it is hard for all of us not to jump to conclusions, it is also unfair to the owner to point fingers until we find more evidence.
While any decently educated American supports the "innocent until proven guilty" doctrine, people are not remiss when they arrive at probable conclusions when a preponderance of the evidence is supporting. While it may not be PC to attribute guilt to the internees at Guantanamo Bay, the probability is 99.99%. Also not PC to some, it's well documented that in adults the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.
It does not make you a sub-human to think that the guy (LeVin) who left a restaurant (bar?) at 1:30 AM in a white Porsche (but it might not have been his) and was seen "roaring" up and down Los Olas (but it might not have been the same white Porsche) and owned the 'abandoned ' white Porsche that was involved in the deaths and is on probation for a similar action is the guy who was driving.
