When is a turbo better than a GT2/3? (+ pics)
Possibly true, but it will get a good look at the rear end awful soon as it moves away.
Thanks, thats courtesy of Dan at vividracing, MaShaw custom GT3RS rear decklid.
It's a love or hate thing, no middle ground with that size of a wing.

I like the GT2 RS wing on your car. How is the fitmet? Dose the air flow stright into the stock air intake, like the stock bootlid did. If you be great if you could post up some picks with the new wing.
It works with the stock intakes. It has drain holes for excess moisture.
I had the inside painted black and black screens installed. There were also a few areas on the wing blade that needed to be painted black because the carbon fiber was a bit off, again something that isn't really noticeable.
I ordered another fan (didnt want to disassemble my stock decklid) and the small rubber attachments that fit between the decklid and the airbox.
When opened the inside of the decklid is carbon fiber so it has a nice look.
Also needed to order attachment hardware for the wing blade from Porsche and the rubber stoppers. I dunno if they were shipped or if it was misplaced when I was transporting the parts between shops.
The extra wiring for the rear brake light and the rear spoiler can just be tied down.
The downsides of the wing:
1) No rear brake light housing, the GT3RS has its rear break light inside the small horizontal piece between the rear window and the deck lid so I get a warning when I turn on the car.
2) Fitment: + and - here. Everything installs perfectly so in that regard no issues. However where the decklid meets the bumper the decklid is just slightly skewed. When the car is moving you can't really notice it. Don't know if this is just with my piece or a mold issue. Most likely the darker the car the less it matters.
3) Need to be careful when opening and closing. Its lighter than the stock decklid (which btw is suprisingly light also) and although the wing blade doesn't touch the car when its open, if you open it quickly it may bump. It also requires more of a violent push to get it to close because of the difference in weight. But I really dont consider these to be major issues.
Overall I love it, its definitely something different and exactly what I was going for. Added the black turbo logo and black tips for my FabSpeed exhaust to compliment the carbon fiber of the wing.
Yes, love the snow...with snow tires!
Not feeling the wing, I think you need a front splitter to really balance it out.
Hope VIR works for you, a friend lives near there and they have 8" on the ground!
One of the worst track outings I ever had was at lamerock in March, track/tires are just too damn cold.
PM me your schedule of track outings so we can coordinate at one of these!

^^^I am with you! I know they handle well, but mine stays in the garage during Seattle snow too - more worried about other drivers sliding into me. Sand not salt on roads here. Good to know they have such great capability in the snow though (my C4S handled great in the snow too).

Im hoping this is the last snow fall of the year and everything just starts warming up. Plus you know what they say, a bad day at the track is still better than a ...

I'll send you a PM when we start signing for additional dates, gotta coordinate with my dad and brother which always slows things down. We got a tentative schedule together and it looks like a lot of Watkins Glen and VIR.
As for the wing, like I said, its a love it or hate it sort of deal, though you gotta see it in person, I aint the best photographer obviously. And I can't add anything to the front because my lip is already chewed up.

It's not the smartest thing to do I'll admit, but I saw a guy in a red murci outside my office window driving on the roads, so I guess there is someone stupider than me out there
