This happend in new zealand.Rolled over-over at over 150 mile/h..Passanger died,driver serious invalid..Car now selling at auction..Can't understand why it selling as none ok parts at all..Who the hell will buy a bloody wasted car..Stupid insurance company...

outside of the roof collapse she looks like it held up relatively well....wonder if a roll cage would have helped? Not that I advocate that type of driving but if its even in the cards you need to consider beefing up the safety factor.

+1. This is deeply saddening news. For both involved.
The only good that comes from this is (yet) another lesson about leaving high-speed driving to the track. Our cars are so competent that it's both frustrating not to drive them on the edge - which comes at extreme speeds, and the effortless means that the car travels at any speed below that edge. But there's no way to cheat basic physics. Any mistake or unanticipated condition can take every car over the edge quickly and with horrible consequences.
Sorry to sound like our collective third grade teacher, but this one should be tucked away as a reminder.
