One my techart tips flew off during a drive, thing I'm pissed about I just had my mufflers put on from straight pipes and the shop which re-did my tips had them really sticking out way too far that proboly being the reason it flew off. I noticed it sticking out when I got home but figured I have it re-adjusted later on. Now that same one is missing.

Got to talk to my bodyshop tommorow about that, So choked.

 

That sux . Did you re trace your drive ? it's probably still sitting on the road , alone , neglected , scoffed up , and looking for a ride back to your car .

All kidding aside . I fell badly for you . I would feel sad if I lost my Techart tip but I know it's always a possibility.

 

If it was that loose it probably fell off within a mile of the shop. I bet it's out there somewhere, regardless the shop owes you a new one.

 

I lost a TechArt exhaust tip on the track. It was so banged up, I could not put it back on. They are not attached very well, IMHO.

 

That's no good and sorry to hear. That shop should be sporting you new one though!

Mine came loose once but I was lucky enough to notice it before it fell off. I've been double checking it since then. I think the body shop owes you another one.

 

One of my Fabspeed tips flew off about two weeks ago and I didn't notice it until I got home so...I know how you're feeling!!

 

Speaking of tips, anybody have a set?

my TA tips didnt fit well on to my fabspeed, so we welded them on. Might be a good option next time.....

 

Can't do that on a 997tt bc the tip exits thru the bumper unlike a 996tt.

 

I think the shop is gonna get me new ones, thanks guys.
