I have the stock TB with the 74mm IPD Plenum. Your car and mine have the same power mods with the exception of the different exhausts.
Don't quote me on this, but I don't think the price is a whole lot more than the Plenum.

the plenum is the small part you put after the throttle body
the y pipe is the large y shaped part which seats at the back of the airbox and connected to the intercoolers.

does rss have in the works the ipd plenum + gt3 81mm TB + Y PIPE mated together ?

No sure. You might want to call them.

does anyone have pictures of plenum installed and Y pipes installed?

The stock plenum and pipes is one piece (correct me if i'm wrong) how can you just add plenum with stock pipes?

Hey Gotboost, your car has some crazy torque. I've had my car dynoed several times and your plot for horsepower looks completely different. My torque was not as high as yours (540) but my horsepower would increase until the end where yours peaks early then drops off. I'm not an expert but maybe your ECU/DME is detecting the heat due to lack of fans and is retarding time and reducing boost because it is detecting some knocking? I had similiar mods and I remember this happening to my car once. I have the GIAC tune and made around 485 to the wheels on their dyno.

I htink you are spot on. I think a better cooling system would of resulted in a different looking plot.

Milou,

Yes. The dyno is power measeured to the wheels. The plenum and Y-pipe are 2 different pieces before and after the TB.

Maybe the next step for you is the intercoolers to keep intake temps down so your ECU doesn't have to pull timing. You should get something to thing to check your intake temps while your driving. I've seen it first hand that stock intercoolers cannot do the job because your car is making to much power to keep up. By any chance, you going to C&C Saturday?

RT,

We use a larger throttle body with our kit and a special machined T pipe that fits it. Please retain that and do not install anything else.

We don't want to jeopardize the performance. I also don't even think it will work due to it's size.

Thanks!
