What is going on at Park Place Porsche, it seems like all the knowledgably managers, advisors and techs are leaving?? My advisor (Steve) is gone, when I ask to speak to the service manager a different guy comes out and tells me Chuck (the service director) is gone, also 2 techs, 1 that has been there for 14 years and a restoration specialist, gone. Now I am looking for another place to service my car, possibly an independent.

Any help??

 

Pay cuts , demotions.and layoffs are norm at most offices and business in my region -including Porsche . So it's not just you local dealership .

I am not quite certain if upper management is simply capitalizing on the "down economy" to tap into employee despair or if things really are that slow . My guess is the truth is somewhere in between .

Either way the job moves are visible and as a car owner I don't blame you for wondering why some of these good guys are the first ones to be unemployed .

What I think it does is shake the confidence of the customer buying a car at a dealership who does not stand behind their own respected employees in tough tkmes .

Park Place is doing great from what I hear. It's Boardwalk in Plano that is hurting right now!

Has Chuck really left Park Place? He is a good guy! This might change my decision on where I service my car from now on!

The tech that has been here for 14 yrs is working at park place at another location closer to home, steve moved up in another company, and the service director he got let go

chevelle you must be confusing me with someone else, I don't own a turbo. There's obviously something underlying going on there. Sounds like you are defending your place of employement.

 

993997 you posted pics of your 05 turbo cab at your house, are you talking about the place you use to work at? Dont beat around the bush
