997tt tip vs GTR
Well with all due respect- this is a Porsche board and I am a visitor and the home team
I expect to see fans and haters.
I guarantee that if members here that own a 997TT went to Nagtroc and posted justifiable comments about their (my) 997TT- the passionate members there would to do the same as 997TT members do here by protecting their (my) beloved GT-R.

I actually joined the site a while back because my wife expressed interest in purchasing a 911, and this site seemed to have a good collection of knowledgable owners to help us out. We've sinced focused on a GT-R, and have enjoyed some of the owner's discussions about other cars.
We are still considering an R8, Vantage, Gallardo, and a few others that are continuously discussed here.

whats funny is that i just dropped the car off at the dealer yesterday and wont be getting it back til tomorrow or friday. the rear tires were very bald (18k miles on set that came with car) and spark plugs may even be due for a change. i think once the new tires are on, the car will perform better. it still wont eat this specific GTR but i think i should hold up better. last time the car was at the dealer was 10k miles and now the car has 18k and hasnt been there since

As you see from the SPI750 TIP vs COBB 540hp GTR from 1st gear, huge power different doesnt really work after 3rd gear.I am sure a stock 997tt will have slightly more AWHP than stock GTR because of the rear mounted engine and shorter trans so higher speed you have better chance.
Btw are you 中国人?

my service advisor was even surprised and said turbos usually dont make it past 10k
Do it from 70mph+@ 3rd gear next time, thats your powerful accle. zone.
