We have delivered EVT700 #47 to the lucky owner yesterday. We also upgraded the plenum, added a larger throttle 83mm throttle body and tuned the ECU based on the customers driving style and performance criteria. With the added tuning and components, we delivered JK's EVT700 as an EVT720. We also added a Porsche Tequipment roll bar which was painted black and installed late last week. Where have you been?? EVOMS currently holds the records in both of these events. Our 996TT holds the 1/4 mile record at 9.67 @ 149.86 MPH and EVOMS built JOETWINT's 996TT holds the standing mile record of 231.4 MPH.

For the 997TT, our company 997TT with the EVT700 Performance system ran ~ 10.70 at 135 MPH about 2 years ago. We have not been back to the drag strip since. The same car ran the mile at 192 last year and ran the mile this year with a prototype turbo system at 196.7 MPH. This 997TT currently holds the fastest time at the mile for the 997TT. This time will be destroyed shortly

Got to say this system, with the power and suspension changes, really transformed the car. A real 'Genie Out of the Bottle.' Took it to a DE session on a very twisty, tricky track in Deming, NM (Arroyo Seco) yesterday and the car really shone...
What this much power needs is an old airport strip for a real exploration of what it can do. Word is that the local PCA has just that in the works!
A Turbo with these mods smokes a stock GT2, IMHO, and for a lot less $$$.... Arguably safer, too--the front wheels powered me out of some corners yesterday where the rear was really out of control...

 

Update: after another 1Kmi, the car has gotten faster. Presumably this is from parts wearing in together. It's quite noticeable. One of our local Porsche instructors drove it and thought it must have nitrous!
