that is correct, in conjunction with the JIC struts i am having some serious steering issues. i got an advice from Dan yesterday "the best way to save weight in your car is the DRIVER" i can help by 40 LBS if i work on me first

Well we are here late working on the car to get it done. The coilovers are all installed along with the turbos and ECU. Tomorrow morning the Fabspeed exhaust will be bolted on and then we will scoot it to get corner balanced and aligned. I will have more pics and info up tomorrow.

I have to say that Vivid Racing made a promise to deliver my car by week's end so i can go bacK to TX, I saw them working on it tonight at 9:30 PM. A great team committed to their work and quality service, Thank you Dan for everything.
The car is coming along good, i added some mods to the table late yesterday night (IC's and new pipes) we still got the alignment to go and will see what's next...

Props to Vivid for the intensity and commitment on this project. I'm still trying to finalize which tuner to select for my next stage.

Dan, thanks for posting, but something does not sound right about your statement.
I've used the GMG sways with both stock and Bilstein coilover without any problem whatsoever.
Looking at our data then, shouldn't the question be, what is the problem with the JIC Cross that causes the GMG bar to flex, if that is indeed the case?

Cannga - I wanted KA to run my sway bars which are beefer and the rear is thicker. Because he is very sensitive to his suspension, I wanted nothing that was originally on there on the car so it was a clean slate. We are not sure if maybe the GMG bar got bent or what. Nothing wrong with the GMG bar at all. Nothing wrong with the JIC either, I run them on my car.

KA - Hey man, I promised, I will deliver!

Taylor - thanks buddy!

Can,
I still think that the PSS10 are ok but not my style, i still know for sure that the JIC's are night a day better but i did not go with adjustable sway bar links, now i am going with all new that's just the way i do things. if the Motons don't do what i want i am making my own ****!
I am just looking forward to the final product and i will post my impression of the whole thing in boring details just for you

Well was here till 930 last night with the crew. I even got my precious hands dirty. Car was all put together and went to get corner balanced and aligned this morning. Once it comes back we will do a complete once over on the car and if time permits run it on the dyno. We added over 30 pictures. So check it out - http://www.vividracing.com/forums/ga...?i=10828&c=341

Sure, there won't be one coilover that fits everyone's need. All have strengths and weaknesses.

The Moton's pedigree is without question, especially for the track. But... more important and helpful for those reading this thread, who might be interested in the JIC:

1. What exactly caused the "serious" steering issue?!

2. What is not adequate about the JIC that is causing you to move to Motons?

Congrats. Sound like someone is going to have lots of fun with his toy.

Well in 5 days (really 4 with late arrival on monday), we completed this transformation. Bigger VTG turbos, intercoolers and boost hoses from Agency Power, exhaust by Fabspeed, Moton Club Sport Coilovers, and Agency Power Sway Bars with Sway links. The full corner balance was done and the car drives well, now just need to adjust the rebound and compression.

We strapped the car down to the Mustang AWD Dyno to give it a whirl. The ambient temp was 90F and humid since we just had a rain storm. Pump gas 93 octane we ran it 3 times and came out with 510awhp and 580ft/lbs of torque. Strap that to a Dyno Jet, you are talking 550awhp. Put 109 unleaded gas in it, you are pushing close to 600 wheel horsepower. Oh yeah, and drop the air temp to 70F and the turbos love you again. In the end, we did the job, the customer only wanted about 650 crank and we have accomplished that mark. Enjoy the pics and video.

Dan,
Your team does a great job, you got my car set up right, i am very glad with the results. I will work on tuning my Motons in the next couple of weeks, i am just looking forward to raping the streets in Austin with new added ponies... it felt very good when i got on it this afternoon.
I got the tuning i asked for, the suspension i asked for, all the other boltons. I will be bringing you my C6 in a few weeks, The drive was well worth it, thank you again.

Congrats. Sound like someone is going to have lots of fun with his toy.

Part of my steering issues were from taking "someone's" advice and set the front toe in
second was poor alignment without scales
third, not using the proper sway bar links but none of was was the reason why i wanted to switch out the JIC's, i simply wanted something else. Going with Motons can't be wrong, i just need to get everything tuned in and i should be set for now until I get me another toy. I have to tell you, the alignment Dan got done for me is the best so far i ever had done.

Very cool, just a quick question, how come you guys didn't go with adjustable control arms since you were already that deep into the suspension? I guess for a street only car they may be overkill, but if you do any trackdays, it would be nice to have that extra adjustibility.
