I went 1.1 inches lower all the way around. Ride is great. I went a bit lower initially on my 08 Cab TT after I put on the Bilstein's and the ride was too stiff for me. Went up ever so slightly and now it's perfect. Everyone has their own preference so my suggestion is to go about 1.25 inches first(per Alex) then gauge. You can always go just a tad higher if that's too low for you. Looking forward to the finished project.

I'm not adding the sways at the moment since i was told that they make the car stiffer, are they necessary?

Milou - per my research, you may wanna consider adding the sway bars especially for a Cab. I'm getting mine done next week.

Can someone please tell me when you measure the height which points are you measuring?

Another thing, what is the difference of the ride height and the shock height?

The small springs in my coilovers are fully closed is that normal?

Sorry but i don't know much about suspensions

1,1inches its about 27,9mm that's too much for me. I think i'll start with dropping it 15-20mm around and we see

for height, we measured from top of tire to top part of fender. To make sure the car is even all the way around, we measured from top of wheel to the top of fender. Make sure you do this on an even surface like an alignment rack.

20mm will look exactly like Cannga's car which still looks good IMO.

The stock 997 turbo heights are F132 +/-10, R153+/-10. This cannot be from tire to fender.

For those who want to know about the GT2 bumper its not a bolt on, but there are two ways to do it.
1) Is to change all radiators, air ducts, and make it work as it does on the GT2

2) Is to change the left/right radiator ducts and remove the central duct, this is what i have done since i found no reason of doing it work the same way as GT2 does.

I have also added the Techart GT2 front lip which looks very nice and fits perfect

Not in a straight line it wouldn't be stiffer... But they really smoothen the transitions and for sudden lane changes etc... The cabs are more flexible so it's something we always do. I would add hollow-gt3 style ones (they're usually made to be 50% stiffer). They're usually designed to re-use the factory bushings too.

Just like these basically.
