Is the 997 hood the same as the 996 hood
Considering a carbon fiber option and most only make one for the 996, not the 997 yet. Is the hood interchangeable between 996s and 997s??

Not same between 996-997
but 997 hood same as 987 cayman/boxster hood.

Both are completely different and not interchangeable- 996 to 997

And with a 997 they went to ALU so it's so much lighter than a 996 one was there's no real point in changing for a CF one either on the 997 platform. At least on the 996 one you'll save 20 pounds or so.
