I was looking for wheels on the net when i came across to this Japanese 100% carbon fiber wheels, which weights 2,76kg

Weds sport wheels are used by a lot of race teams in the JGTC. I wonder how strong this wheel really is..

The trade-off is stiff versus brittle. Do you want 'compliant', but brittle carbon fiber wheels as part of your suspension? I think not. Look at the fragile nature of Formula 1 carbon suspension parts.

Those Wheels was part of a WedsSport's (a japanese wheel company) Project that never made it to public. The cost was sky high with not enough rigidity for real world use.
