Pagid brake pads

Is it better thank stock?
Anybody experienced which color most suitable for high speed free way driving (60-120mph) ? Should I trued the disc?

Blue
Well balanced all-round compound with high level of friction in cold and hot condition, extremely fade resistant. Best for slalom, rally, hill climb and short road tracks.

Orange
Higher friction coefficient than Blue compound with even less fade after extreme braking. Best for rally, slalom and all tracks.

Yellow The successful pad for long distance races! Outstanding low wear rate and durable performance even under extreme brake usage. Best for long distance racing.

Black High-performance compound on ceramic basis, gives "instant"bite and nevertheless can be handled simply and provides acceptable wear rates on discs. Circuit races.

All the racing pads will squeal compared to a street pads. You can learn to modulate the pedal to eliminate 98% of the squeal. Blacks will stop you the fastest but will wear the fastest. Yellows will last the longest. Orange will squeal the loudest. I use yellows front, blacks rear, to help improve front to rear brake bias on my 996TT, but I mostly track my car.

I have Pagid Yellow for track usage, Black will wear the disc faster. Both are very good for high speed hard braking.. For street use, i suggest you upgrade to braided hose will do.

Unless you are going to the track I would stay with the Stock Pads. Good cold bite, no squeal, and fade should not be an issue.
