Please help...

Ok, so first off, I'm a moron.

My problem is, I sent out my ECU to get programmed, and in doing so I disconnected my battery, and without thinking I shut my hood.

Now I just got back my ECU, reconnected everything, went to pop the hood, and it seems to be electronic which I didn't really think through.

There has to be a way to pop the hood with no battery connection, otherwise how would a car with a dead battery ever open the hood to gain access....

PLEASE HELP.....

Much thanks,

AJ

Read your manual lately? Or got a socket to socket charger handy? There is a secret cable you need to find.

csoule is infamous around these parts
Opening hood with dead battery

Open the fuse block under the dash on the left side by the drivers leg. In the upper right corner is a red tab that will pull out about 1/2". It has a picture of the hood on it as I remember. Connect a battery charger, positive to the red tab and negative to the door hinge and the hood will pop.

Just plug in a battery tender into the cigarette/socket outlet.
