Can the locks be changed?

Or the key 'reprogrammed'? One of my keys was stolen and I obviously want to change them out somehow. TIA for any info.

serious? that soon already? well if it really was stolen and not forgotten the key can be reprogrammed so it would not start (same thing happened in my s550). if you want it so they can't open the door you will need to have the lock re-done which seems a bit expensive....

OR

wait to see he tries and get them lol

That's what I figured. Anyone know how much to change out the actual locks if I decide to go that route?

Thanks for the info. Car or homeowners insurance?

I stopped by the local dealer and asked how much it would cost to reprogram my spare and purchase another. Approx $350-ish for just the key, and $65 for 'labor' (i.e. reprogramming).
Good news for me is I may have located the missing key.
