UPDATE. Matt from Oakley Design (or more accurately Tech Tuning Ltd) never returned my email as he committed to, but this story keeps getting more and more interesting. Unfortunately, due to legalities I'm not at liberty to divulge the info I now posses at this time, but as Red 9 mentioned, if you are owed money or product by Oakley Design/Tech Tuning Ltd, please post or PM me- we hope to bring quick resolve to this very unfortunate situation. I don't have enough posts to reply to PM's so leave your email address so I can respond.

 

How about some contact info on the people at Oakley Design/Tech Tuning LTD? Jon is no longer there yet still nobody at Oakley (Matt, Martin, whoever else is there) responds or is stepping up to make this right. Regardless of the reason Jon left, someone needs to take responsibility for all these issues with their customers, communicate with them, refund their money, ship their products. That's what is BS.

UPDATE:

To no surprise Jon has also now dissappeared, although I know he is still trying to do business as Oakley Design. If you send an email to parts@oakley, he will respond and ask that you send him money. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OAKLEY DESIGN OR JON OAKLEY!

Jon was using an email address from a friend of his to correspond with me. He was claiming he was unethically ousted from Oakley and was gathering enough info to do a class action against them. Low and behold he is now still trying to scam more customers out of money.

I received this email from his friend whose email he was using a couple weeks ago. Sounds like he has scammed his own friends as well:

Mark, have you trie to talk to the FBI? Since he's doing business nationally/Internationally, they'd be the agency to complain to. He seems like he'd be quite easy to track down using their resources. Infact, they'd probably set up a sting and pose as a customer to see if he sends the goods. When he doesn't deliver, they'd move in and arrest him.

 

Talk with the writers at Excellance. They just did a 4 page write up on OD in this months issue. They had lots of nice things to say.

Thank goodness for the power of the internet. Through this and Pistonheads I saved myself from getting seriously burned.... was about to go with them for a purchase but on finding out the various threads of Oakley politely "delayed" my decision to remit money to Jon Oakley....

 

It was exactly because of the Excellence article that I contacted Oakley about the sequential shift device.... damn you have to wonder how much due diligence these mags should do before publishing anything....

The problem is we sometimes view an article in a magazine of repute as something of an endorsement.... we really need to do far more due diligence ourselves clearly.... I am so glad that I am on all these forums or I would have very possibly burned myself badly.... I love the power of the internet... and am truly sorry for those that have got burned by Jon Oakley thus far...

You can purchase the sequential direct from myself in the UK.
Shipping will take around 4-7days to Singapore with DHL or FEDEX.
Cost for the Sequential is £3999.00 and I will include the shipping in this
price.

I have attached the fitting instructions for you. (and some GT3 titanium
exhaust 12kgs images £4499)

There is no drilling or cutting to be made to the car and it can be returned
back to original without problems.
There is one small change where you will have to remove a nipple that one of
the adjustable rods from the shifter unit clips to as this is mounted on the
wrong side of the original arm. In the kit is a new nipple that can be
mounted in either side of the original arm so our unit fits and the car can
be returned back to original without problems.

I have 1 last sequential in stock and new units wont be avaliable until
Febuary.
