Pccb and pads

It’s seems like my PCCB brake pads need to be replaced soon , is there any other option then the OEM .This is my second set in 12K. .

choices are limited unless you change out the rotors

You can find the OEM pads for about $600-700

I hope that was for the front and rear. Last time I bought pads it was $345.00 for the fronts and $310.00 for the rears. I would think the rears would be less since they are about half the size, but thats not the case.

The rear pads with sensors , spacers and all necessary hardware can cost $600.

do you find that your pccbs squeek less with new pads?

It’s never consistent; I find that it has a lot to do with the way I drive. If I do some fast hard braking for a minute, the squeak seems to disappear.

My dealer changed the rotors and pad on a cutomers car because of the squealing. it appears this sould not occur and it is covered by the warranty
