sparkhill, thanks for the pics. i think you may have just spent some of my money - i like the illuminated door sills and visors in leather.

 

Very well thought out and congrats on this outstanding car. I am glad you went for dynamic engine mount and PTV -- wish I have these 2 in my 997.1 TT!

Don't know what's right or wrong, but I did have the side skirt and rear lip factory painted. These don't need to be repainted so I went for factory. I did not have factory paint for the front lip.

Just a matter of taste: I've seen ruby red with tan or natural brown, and it looks absolutely stunning. I mean off the charts gorgeous with the natural brown . I don't think ruby red and black leather have the same degree of contrast, but again, I don't mean to be critical here. Strictly a matter of taste.
Second, my vote is to leave the stitching in whatever color the leather is. There is enough "color" in the car with a red exterior already, just IMHO.

I don't have Porsche crest on seat either. Don't miss it.

Painted seat-back: Hmmm. 50/50 on this one. Somehow I think I would with black leather, but wouldn't with tan/natural brown.
