Is My Differential Locking Up?

Recently when the car is at rest and I turn the wheel and begin to turn as if into a parking space, the front tires seem to be dragging when I begin to move the vehicle. Almost like the front dif is locking up. Anyone have a similar problem? I am bringing it in to the dealer this week.
My car is an 08 Turbo.

No I notice that also, this is more like a binding up feeling of the front wheels like a differential is grabbing on turning.

Does it feel like the front wheel is hopping a little? Only happens when it's cold out? Mine does it also, it's probably the cold turning the PS2s into bricks.

I was going to say that also...first time I noticed it was leaving a X-mas party last week and the temp was like 14 degrees and the car had been out there for about 5 hours.

It does seem worse in the cold but I don't remember it doing this last year. I also am not sure if there is a new hum when on the highway. Either way, I am going to bring it in for a dealer check and put my snows on this week. I will post the results of the dealer evaluation. Thanks for your replies.

Yeah...highly likely to be tyre related..the Ps2 rated at 45F summer tyre...
so Cold weather as I am witnessed to with same Michelins describe the same exact
symptoms.
I too have an 08 Turbo w/ added rear differential lock.

I have the same "issue" with my OEM summer tires. Doesn't happen with 18" winter michelins.

Mine is an '09 with an optional LSD.
