iam so happy with my car(997 turbo Tip) performance

My mods:Protomotive gt3071 turbo kit

did 1/4 mile runs using Pbox

At 1.05 1.1 bar pump fuel: my best 10.8 at 131.8 best trap 132.2 on 10.9 run.

At 1.2 bar race fuel: i manged to have one run did 10.6 at 134 (my 60" 1.8) on 79F weather

I am going to rise the boost level to 1.4 1.5 bar after i upgrade my T converter just to be in the safe side .

Great numbers, you can't go wrong with Protomotive.

Who is going to upgrade your tip? MKB is a great company that does upgrade the Tiptronic for the turbo but you have to ship it to them. I contacted them a few months ago, if i'm not mistaken its a lot more work than just the torque converter.

 

+ definitely TP transmission needs upgrade

is your pump gas (5,9) with 91 octane or 93 octane ?

do you have any estimated time for the transmission build to complete from MKB? also are those the mercedes guys from germany?

also which race fuel? VP 109?

95 ron=91-92 us octane

The upgrade can only be done at mkb germany(one week build time)

200-300 low boost 1 bar in 14 sec

temp was 22C , 3/4 tank

i think i will drop at least 1.5 to 2 sec with race fuel at mid boost 1.2bar

and your 3071 is with .63 A/R right ?
