Which Is Quicker in 1/4mile?

from John Hennessey's track we ran multiple times on the same day with a 997tt stock, 997tt stage 2, 997tt 700 kit, stock 997 gt2. Times were 10-12 sec stock, 7.7-8.3 stage 2, 6.9-7.0 700 kit, 8.2-8.3 GT2. Conditions were warm with a slight headwind but they are comparable since it is the same day, same track.

I haven't seen any verified in the 6speed logs. Tip cars I can believe. The 6 speed is tough because of the addtional shift into 5th

So then what are they basing it on and why is it there: 9.5 - Porsche 997TT ?

dunno. Not one of our member verified runs. The F430 that ran the 10.1 was my friend's running F1 in Race mode. I would be surprised if a stock 997 6speed could run faster. Now the 997 tips are a different matter. Only 1 shift and boost does not fall off.

That's what I am saying. My dyno was 519RWHP at max. With a centrifugal supercharger with boost proportional to RPM, the area under the power curve is not ideal(i.e. very peaky). Compared to the stock car though, the improvement is dramatic. You wouldn't expect it to be all conquering!

I bet the difference is dramatic and I'm familiar with it, I'm running a centrifugal as well
