To window tint or not?
I have Guards Red 997TT, what do you guys think about window tint?

I think a slight tint improves the looks of the car and if you drive it daily and its in the sun protects the interior some also. Totally subjective in the looks dept but I tint all my cars personally.

I say do it, but don't go darker than 50%.

I agree with slight tint only. Too dark and it makes the car look cheap IMHO

agree, not too dark. go with a ceramic tint - better UV and heat protection

Now that's got me thinking.. ceramic silver tint on a GT Silver.. could be amazing?

a must, i hate after someone tries to keep up with you, and you leave them, and then you exit off the hwy and they pull up too you and look at you like

I love tint...but it's not legal in NJ...I would do it in a heart beat if I could get away with it...

I am thinking about the same. Does anyone have pictures of a tinted cab? I am not sure how that would look....

I bought a used 996ttS cab in triple black with tint, from TX.
I removed the tint, it was too much Darth, reinforced by the smaller glass on the cab, well rear view anyway.

I LOVE tints. Keeps the car cool in the summer and looks awesome. I have 20% all around and 50% on the windshield.
