997TT PCCB questions.
997TT PCCB questions.
Besides the color, are the calipers the same for 997TT regular vs PCCB brakes?
Are there low dust pads for regular 997TT brakes that do not effect braking performance (or make it better)?
I miss my 996TT PCCB but the biggest issue for me is the dust.

And you are right: For the street, the biggest benefit of PCCB is being relatively dust free.
Correct. Both are six-piston at front and 4-piston at rear. The PCCB option increases the front discs from 13.8 or 350 mm to 15.0 or 380 mm.

According to the Porsche site, the standard calipers are 4 piston front and rear.

My 2007 calipers are definitely 6 piston, only in red.

Also, would converting to PCCB be as simple as swapping rotors and pads or are the calipers on a different mount to accommodate the larger rotors?
I doubt I'd do this because of the high cost but I am very curious.

"The standard braking system features six-piston fixed calipers at the front and four-piston fixed calipers at the rear."
My bad and I stand corrected. I have PCCB, so I just looked (not deeply enough) at the website.
