I hooked it into the fusebox with a spade clamp, didn't need that other part afterall. The sound is horrible though, a constant whirring that goes up/down with the engine RPMs and it sounds muffled, almost like an AM radio. I have it plugged into the RCA ports in the denison aux. Any ideas?

Where is the Dension grounded?

Use a ground loop isolator on RCA input of GW500 unit to eliminate problem. Happens sometimes...

Not sure where the denison is grounded, don't recall a sep ground wire on it. Can you post a pic of what you're talking about with the rca input.

You can get the loop isolator from radio shack.

I mounted mine in the front bumper. It is out of site and works perfect from there.
