I put the antenna under the cowel (plastic under the wipers). I ran it through the grommet behind the battery. I ran power from the fusebox using an alternator switched fuse so it will power on/off when the car turns on/off.

Thanks, where/how did you hook it into the fuse box? I don't see anywhere I can easly run a connection. I was thinking of splicing it into something 'hot' like a light, etc.

I purchased and ran the following "5 volt hardwired car adapter". I placed the wire behind the center consoule and ran it to the fuse box using the included wire taps:

I have to check exactly which fuse I used but cant get to it until tomrrow. Im thinking C1 or C2

Yeah, I 'd love to see how/where you mounted all the stuff. I was thinking of making something where I could hide a small sirius unit in a door pocket, and pull it into my lap when I wanted to use it. I had an old Sony CD changer in the late 80's that had no dash mount, just a small wired remote you could stash. I really hate that there are direct sirius options for an 09!

I have mine mounted in the glove box since I listen to the same one station most of the time. It is very easy to change channels just by opening the glovebox and using the remote or the unit itself. Since I have the PCM 3 with ipod and aux inputs in the center console storage area, I ran the audio cable form the glovebox to the aux input in the center console (all hidden). I can easily switch between the aux cable and ipod cable because they are both coming up from under the console into cable input area

If you don't want to use the wire splices, you can just get a spade terminal, crimp it to the end of the 12V wire, and slide it in a vacant spot in the fuse panel. I did this to power my V1. Just find an empty slot in the panel that is hot only when your ignition/accessory is on. I can post a pic if you'd like.

I actually dont think you need the part that I recommended. Your docking cradle probably came with a direct power cable with a 2 amp in-line fuse so you probably go straight into the fuse box.

The 5v Hardwire power supply I recommended was for the following XM units listed below. I believe your docking cradle does the power conversion directly.

Sorry if there was any confusion.

Compatible Radios:
  • Delphi MyFi
  • Pioneer Airware
  • Pioneer XMP3
  • Pioneer Inno
  • Tao XM2go
  • Delphi RoadyXT
  • Delphi SKYFi3
  • Audiovox Xpress
  • Audiovox Xpress R
  • Audiovox Xpress RC
  • Audiovox Xpress EZ
  • Delphi Xpress RC
  • Sirius XM MiRGE
  • Samsung Helix
  • AGT Sportscaster

TT Surgeon:
Here are some pics (sorry just iPhone). If you don't like the wire running out from the panel the way mine does, you can route it from inside the fuse box to behind the panel and retrieve it.

Put some black heat shrink on the first 10" of that wire and you won't even see it! Thanks for the pic.
