Just saw my 1st '10 Turbo today and noticed the new style rear wing. I wasn't aware of it as the Porsche site still shows the 997.1 wing style.

I think I have to get this new wing.

 

That turbo has the aerokit.

 

Do you know if the wing can be had separately? I didn't notice anything else unusual about the body.

I'll have to ask the parts guy to price it for me and see what else might be involved.

Do you have that wing on your car? I don't remember the pics now.

 

is a pretty cheap option. around 7k

The only differences are :
a slightly different front lip (personally I couldn't even tell) that is painted body color
side rockers are painted body color
rear apron piece is painted body color
and of course the wing and new engine cover

"Includes new front spoiler lip, new engine cover with rear spoiler and fixed wing profile. Paint finish in exterior color, including standard side skirts and standard lower part of rear apron. Note: substantially reduces entry angle to gradients"

I'm sure you can buy the parts for the wing and engine cover separately.

My car doesn't have the aero kit. I was looking at one though in white and it did look really good.

 

u can buy it at the dealer..rather pricey though.

Suncoast sells the aerokit for around 5k. Most aftermarket wings look like crap in person imo. The only exception would be the techart type 1 which is very similar.

but for a new wing, engine cover and paint for all 6 pieces ... 6k isn't bad.

 

I've never really liked the OEM aero kits...techart does it for me! But it costs more...

Have you considered the RTurbo/RT12 wing? (You have a Ruf conversion, after all.)

Thank you for the compliment. The wing is in a fixed position, so I asked Ruf to change the console panel to remove the spoiler deploy button (console part is from the GT3.) Something to consider if you switch to a fixed wing and don't want a dead button.
