Starter Motor

The car was acting strange for the past month. Took me 3 turns of the key to start it and I called the dealer weeks ago and said is this may be normal when the car is dormant. The starting process has to be rejuvinated if the car sits for more than a week.

Well, the car hasnt been dormant for a month and it takes me a few tries to start it.

Of course at the Dealer today it started on one turn.

we let it sit for 10 minutes and then it would not crank up.

The mechanic determined it was a faulty starter motor.

Not very common he said.

It was ordered and will be replaced tomorrow.

Anyone have to replace their starter motor?
