Ok regarding the TC, this is not an upgrade in my opinion, it is actually hard on the gears, it is something like holding the clutch on the manual gear and rise the RPM and then left the clutch, please chime on this if i'm wrong.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
all the Performance shops which upgrading the tranny they change the clutches and add more discs and modified the valve body.<o></o>
<o></o>
So don't expect much from changing the TC only, sooner or later you need to do something with the clutches.<o></o>

So you are saying that TC should not be upgraded? Or add discs/change valve body and then do the TC?

I have never heard of anyone braking tha TC

you should check your TC. If there is nothing wrong with it, leave it alone. It's not the part that slips. You must add extra discs.

Yes bro if i want to upgrade my trany i'll start with the clutches and the valve body and might go with oil cooler and even i'll not leave any one do the oil cooler for me, it must be from an expert because bigger not always better, you might add bigger cooler but the oil pump will not support it and you will see drop on the oil pressure and then you will hurt your tranny because the low speed movment of the oil from the tranny to the cooler.

The TC alone will not do much, it will hurt your stock trany if you didn't do it all at the same time.

can some one tell me what is the stall on those upgraded TC ?

Whiteknight upgraded my tranny and I have the gt3071 kit from protomotive. we added more discs, kept the TC standart as it does not have anything wrong on it. the shiftment is very quick and hard now, almost like PDK. I did 100 - 200 km in 4.7 seconds with upgraded tranny. Before this upgrade the car was slipping a lot at 1.4 + bar of boost, I have pushed the limits to 1.6 bar, so far so good.

I did it in 1.5 bar with 91 pump / methanol. Will try with 104 octane today.
