997TT tip upgrade
hi there ..
please can you tell me which company can upgrade the torque converter ??
how much it is ??
because with my 997tt ( gt30 ) it start slippin .. am afraid that its time to upgrade the TC ..
any advise will be usefull

We'll offer you the reinforcement of the Porsche gearbox 997Turbo.
Replacing clutches and a bigger disc carrier to add discs,
modification of the shift valve.
ETC reprogramming for torque up to 1300Nm.
EURO 3.950.-- + 19% VAT. ex work.
We need the gearbox and the ETC (electronic transmission control) unit
for modification in Germany.
Modification time: approx. 1 week after receipt of payment.
Please don't hesitate to contact us for further information
and send us your complete address and the chassis number
for the order confirmation.

EVOMS has a TCU (transmission control unit) upgrade available. Essentially, the TCU upgrade allows the transmission to shift at a higher rpm (7000), increases the tq limits, and significantly decreases up and down shifting times.
This upgrade is done electronically, in the TCU itself.

It actually helps modded cars to shift gear before hitting the rev limiter. I'm in a search for a broken/used 997 turbo tiptronic gearbox to send it over to MKB. Does anyone knows where i can get one in Europe?

i talked to them ,, they can modfiy the whole gearbox , but not the TC
