Gents,
We are a direct dealer with Sachs Racing and can get anything in their catalog. Our pricing is competitive as well.
I have considerable seat time in cars with both our Stg 2.5 and Stg 3 kit. I have excellent feedback and have been pretty good with outfitting clients with the right clutch for their application.

Hope that helps.
For our 650 and 750 kits we are recommending the Stage 2.5. The pedal feel is like stock and there is no shutter or chatter at engagement.

Well I don't know the exact number from Porsche, but from experience we know that it is good for about 650-660. It's life at that power level will really be determined on how it is driven.
Hope that helps.

I did this comparison of my CG544 kit and the Ruf550 kit a while back. The Ruf550 kit comes with an uprated clutch, the CG544 kit doesnt and uses the stock clutch. The peak torque of my CG544 is higher than the Ruf550 but comes in at later revs:
From my recent experience, I'd say anything around the 775Nm level would need an uprated clutch.
I have had no clutch slippage this summer, but that is probably down to the warmer weather and less dense air yielding less power than during the winter months.

I'm not sure how they correlate with Sach's numbers.

I used an Aasco flywheel with a Sachs clutch setup, identical to what Mike/Todd at AWE use. When the clutch went in at Ruf, I also asked that they use a 764 rather than 752 pressure plate.

Thanks for looking up the part numbers.
Strange though that the 997 GT2 part has a 996 prefix.

Re. stock clutch, there is no "formal" figure, but my informal "web research" :-) indicates around 560 ft-lb or 760 Nm, the level of a stage 3 tune.
This means, most stage 2 cars (exhaust + ECU tune) will be ok with OEM clutch, but a good stage 3 tune (exhaust + ECU + intercooler) will require better clutch.
Much also depends on driver and driving condition as already mentioned. My stage 2 car for example slips when it's cold and whenever my tuner Tom of Lucent touches it.
BTW, PDK's limit IIRC is around 795 Nm. This would make me somewhat concerned to tune a PDK car to stage 3 (intercooler), since the margin of error is so thin at this point (you would think stage 3 997.2 would come closer to 795). This is especially true since there have been a couple of reports of PDK failure (unknown cause) in Europe that I've read about.
+1 for Mike/AWE. I will be calling when my car needs new clutch.

Bought the kit from Todd/Protomotive and he said this was the quietest LWFW option around.
GT3RS lwfw 964.102.239.31
GT3RS Clutch Disk(Sprung) 996 116 015 32
Stage3 PP 88 3082 999 764
release bearing, pilot bearing, ring gear, bolts etc.
Will let you know how I like it.
