Need advice!!
I'm about to purchase FVD software for my car and I am thinking of buying the kit with the exhaust, BUT I already have a tubi street on my car.
Is the FVD 200cell sound version-loud alot louder than the TUBI?
Also has anyone done this to their own cars as I would love to hear your experiences.
Thanx,
Nick.

I don't have either exhaust, but pretty much every offering out there is similar in volume assuming they have at least 200 cell cats. 100 cell and catless systems will obviously be louder.
The real question qualitative, not quantitative. That is, will you like the sound quality of the FVD system more than the Tubi's? FVD makes exceptional stuff. And from what limited I've heard over the internet, they sound fantastic as well.
Safest thing to do is obviously find someone local that has the system. Even if you buy it sight unseen, I doubt you'd have much difficulty selling them as they are very popular 'round these parts

Yeah I hear ya dude.
I've heard clips on youtube and from what I hear the TUBI is more high pitched and the FVD is alot deeper BUT I would like to know if you can hear the FVD more in the cabin as the TUBI is quite quiet when the windows are up and is it alot louder outside too!?
Also in the U.K. finding peeps to help you out like you say is a very hard thing to do as the tuning scene out here is very limited compaired to the states!

Yes, I went from tubi to fvd, now the fvd moderate. The regular fvd is significantly louder than the tubi, the moderate is very similar to the tubi. I have made a vid, will post shortly.
If you already have a tubi system, just get the software for a 200 cell cat system, you will be fine.

They do 3 sound levels a TUV approved a medium and a loud. I take it you have the medium?
Also how are you finding the software? (how many miles have you done with it?)

Yes, the medium, but I started with the loud version. It is fantastic, as is the tubi. The software is the key component of the package. I have about a 1000 miles on it so far, no complaints.
Cheers for that.
Today I ordered my software so that should be here with me by Thursday or Friday.
I recieved the lead and software today and did the read and write process and what a transformation it has made to the car!!
Also thanx to the guys at FVD for helping me when I needed some help you were great!
I took the car our for a 2hr blast tonight after filling up the tank.
I still cannot get my head around how fast it is!
I feel blown away
my friend that was with me couldn't take it anymore near to the end of the drive, even though he loved it LOL
Even the TUBI exhaust sounds totally different now with the remap installed and in 4th and 5th gear it really tries to break traction between 4k to 5k revs! (is this normal?)
I'm guessing the clutch will not last long with this power and torque but I will deal with that when the time is right.
I do however feel the car now needs a descent suspension setup to handle the extra power and some descent intercoolers as I felt the car hold back on the power when I sat at the petrol station for 5 mins after the mad drive, because I took it back out and it held back for about 10secs I guess from the heat soak!
BUT what a machine it has become so much power available on tap and so useable and the way it revs all the way to 7k is astonishing!
I wont bore you anymore with what I think and feel as I think you get a picture of what I'm trying to say guys and I'm sure alot of you have experienced this if not more.
Once again thanks again to FVD USA and Germany for ya help, and maybe I will ring you back in 2 weeks for bigger turbos LOL but at the moment I would think I would be nuts to even go there
