Has anybody posted a comparison of a BBI exhaust to the other popular ones? Secondly, is there anybody in the Maryland area that has one or any popular exhaust I can listen to? Any and all opinions are welcome.

I had the GMG exhaust before changing to BBI. The sound on the GMG was great(loud) but BBI's quality far superior. Sound on on BBI is better with no drone. Actually not as loud as GMG until WOT. The GMG had several long cracks after only two years and was falling apart at the cross pipe. Had the GMG headers that also ended up cracking after I sold them to a buddy. That sucked!

BBI vs. Cargraphic loud

BBI sounds more naturally aspirated and while the BBI can be custom tuned for sound the one I heard (Gotboosts) was much more louder than the Cargraphic so he can perhaps let you know the version for a more accurate comparison.

I prefer the Cargraphic sound however if you are looking for an exhaust on the louder end but with minimal drone the BBI would be a good choice especially when it can be tailored to your taste.

 

Here is the link to some clips of my BBI Loud version. Sorry, the sound quality on the recording isn't the best. This was when it was brand new on the car. The sound now is even better after it's been broken in. Like Gmoney said, this exhaust is as close to a naturally aspirated motor sound as you can find. Sounds much more like a GT3 than a turbo. You can get in 3 different sounds levels and I can assure you, there are very few exhaust systems out there that will rival this system in sound, power, and build quality.

Just got my BBi exhaust on & love so far i'm coming off a Fabspeed & a MIlltek & without knocking them it's just different in a good way, will right a review after a little more seat time.

 

It seems every video paints a different picture of the sound-very frustrating! Plus all you guys live on the West coast Thanks for the feedback, I will post before and after Dyno results when I finally make a decision.
