Got the cash, need the car!

Ya snooze and ya lose. I waited just a little too long and the 2008 black on black turbo sold before I could commit. Dangitall. I guess I should've known that a 2008 with low mileage, adaptive seats and sport chrono would sell for the asking of 90k. I was just waiting for the weather to warm up and the Cdn dollar to increase a bit, which it has. But now the car is gone.

I've been scouring the usual sources - Cars.com, autotrader etc... for a while. If anyone knows someone who wants to sell a 2007-09 black on black with adaptive sport seats, sports chrono, some other options and low miles then please point me in their direction. Just turned 40 and need a midlife-crisis-mobile.

Why not look in the US - a much larger selection. You can get Kulu of Kulumotors.com (Calgary) to import, do all the paper work, switch to CDN standards, and deliver it to your door. I did - and it was perfect.

I am looking mainly in the US. I just emailed Kulu today about a black one he has. Thanks to you for pointing him out. His price is far better than what is being offered in Ontario but it's still 5-10k higher than
a US car based on the current exchange rate.

Good luck with your search. I bought my US pcar in the middle of January and within 3 weeks I had it registered and plated here in Vancouver, Canada.
It is a great car and I really like it.
IMHO you have to act fast as the good cars go quite fast.

I didn't think the guy would sell it over the winter since he put it away in storage but he did. I was a little nervous about a private sale since some of the members here had strong opinions about only buying from dealers. The search goes on...

You can always buy through a broker. Try CatsExotics. Good luck and enjoy the hunt!
