My dealer gave me a copy of the order proforma and letter with order number that "guarantees" me my vehicle.

I am still mad that Porsche has been showing ICE BLUE METALLIC on Turbo S's since the (Norway, 2009?) photo shoot now being used to sell the car...and can't deliver either that color...or the RS-style wheels until August/September!

For my scheduled-but not yet confirmed- May 2010 Turbo S build, I've gone for Arctic Silver and Black/Stone Gray interior (which is OK- but hardly the really special feeling I wanted to get from my first-ever exotic build) since I didn't want to get an August/September build and not be able to enjoy the car all winter...while paying for it and insurance and everything else!

Does anybody have ANY news that ICE BLUE METALLIC is going to be available (as soon as May?) by any chance? I'd switch my order in a second to that color and blue/black interior! Thanks

Just heard that Ice Blue will not be available now until November. When I ordered my Ice Blue S in February I was given a May/June build date with a September delivery. Now looking at a Jan/Feb delivery. It's the colour I want so will just need to be patient for a while longer. <!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- / message -->

i know it's not a big factor, but i'm amazed at the epa ratings of 17/25 for this car. if you think about that in the context of what this car is capable of, it's quite an achievement! hopefully in a few years i'll be in range of one of these...

agreed the RS spyder wheels being delayed as ive said before seem highly inaccurate - those are THE STANDARD wheels for the TTS

wyk1982 is correct...the wheels are standard and there is no delay. Production on my car is scheduled for completion May 11 and as of this morning PCNA indicated all is copasetic.

As for Ice Blue, it is still showing as available after Sept.
I take it you work for a Porsche dealer? Would that be Sept delve. or build.
My dealer swears he has a Aug. Confirmed build for my Ice Blue. But the build date has changed 3 times since Feb. I started this journey in late Dec. trying to build a 2010 Turbo changed to Turbo S since there were no 2010 other than pre ordered avail. Since I wanted all PCCB RS spyder wheels the Turbo S Made sense. Starting to think I ordered a Ferrari if Sept is the build date looking a Nov Delve. Pushing a year. Long wait for a Pcar. IMHO

Hoping the waiting is worth it. Ordering my wife a Cayenne next month it will be here in Aug. Going to beat my Turbo a few months
