Warranty work question…

Took my car in today because I am having two minor issues… My driver’s side window goes down and then slightly back up before the door is shut…happens intermittently… Just started on Friday. And… I also have a very small antifreeze leak. Noticed a smell and then looked underneath. Apparently it’s coming from a very hard to reach spot that will require the removal of engine and transmission. Ouch… very pleased the vehicle is still under warranty…

Question… Anything in particular I need to look out for with this kind of work. Anyone have similar repairs requiring the removal of eng/trans? Only 13k miles…

Thanks!

The window goes down and slightly back up before the window is shut? That sounds like normal operation to me. The reason why the window comes back up a touch while the door is open is so the top of teh window is secured by the door skin when you shut it. Rather than you shutting the door and hearing the glass rattle around

You shouldn't have to worry about anything else. The dealership is sure to take care of the complaint and return the vehicle perfect. I would just enjoy your free car wash. Or even better, may request the vehicle not to be washed if you are meticulous like I am
