Some recommendation on interior color

Hi all,

I have ordered a 2011 Turbo s and it will be my first sports car . I'm really excited but been kicking around for the best color coordination. I hope someone can help with some good recommendation.

I think I will go with the White exterior with bottom painted. AeroKit Turbo might be a bit too aggressive for person at my age (37) and plus, the clearing is too low.

For interior, I was thinking of black leather interior with the following options:
Instrument surround painted
Trim Strip Switch panel painted
PDK gear selector gate surround painted
Decorative trim on gear level painted
Rear section of center console in exterior color
Sports seat backrests in exterior color

Not sure if they have optional stiching on white, but it would look nice.

Does anyone have any color recommendation that goes with white exterior and won't make me look too "old"..

Much appreciated. I'm new to the forum and already received a lot of great feedback. Thanks.

Sounds good to me! If you want something a bit more special you should check out the sea blue interior, not many people have it but I think it looks great with the white exterior.

Also the carbon package is a nice touch imo.

+1 on the carbon bits inside(steering wheel, shifter, and handbrake). I'd stay with black interior.

Nice Suggestion. Definitely check out the Carbon and the interior Blue.

I just wish there is a way to really see what the actual car would look like with all the options.

I've been playing around with the "built my car" on the Porsche website but it's only a graphic rendering .

Keep them coming. These are awsome suggestions

You've got good choices but I agree with others, carbon.

I have an 09TT which has full leather like the 2011TTS has but i added the rear center console, instrument surround, inner sills, a-pillar, b-pillar, visors, defroster trim, AC vents, rear seat levers and the door trim in leather and it looks great. I will post some images tomorrow. I think leather looks better than painted interior parts. There is a thread somewhere here or at Teamspeed.com which shows many of the leather options so you can see how they look. You wont be disappointed if you like leather. Porsche does have deviated white stitching but be sure to order it on all the options otherwise it might look strange with some in white stitching and some with stock stitching.

Nice. Can't wait to see those pictures.

What color leather did you choose? Is it black?

I think interior colors and aethetics are such personal choices. I hesitate on painting all the trim only because i have seen white on black which is over done and if too much is painted it really can stand out. The contrast is huge.

I have awhite car 997s (Terracotta) and a black(Black) car 997tt.
Here's my two interiors if it gives you ideas.
Ok Here's my 997S --

And here's the Turbo --

stitching

I found another example just to help with ideas for you. This is one my favorite white /black comibations and was a car of another forum member . Look at \ how nice the red stitching offsets yet it blends. Even in the steering wheel . It's a very old thread but i really liked the way the interior looked . https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ara-white.html

wow..very nice. I was thinking of Terracotta for interior but from all the pictures i saw, they look a bit reddish. Maybe it's because of the camera flash. I may have to visit the dealers to take a better look.

The black and red stiching is very nice as well. I am not sure if that is part of the Porsche option though.

My camera is awful and my photography skills even worse but i love the terracotta .It's not as red as carerra red and looks better in person in the sunlight. Let me see if this gives an idea. Look at the tiles on the house and a closeup of the driveway to give contrast.

He ordered the red . It's on his window sticker which was in the post (marked as deviated stitching) .
White stitching BTW looks beautiful and I used to think it woild be hard to clean but I understand that it's nylon and not too difficult .

contrasting stitching adds a lot, especially the porsche red stitching, but you have to like it...white stitching adds a nice pop as well

certainly an option that adds a ton to the interior look

Larry nailed it on the head. White/red is if you are after the "holy $%&*" factor and white/black if you want something warm and calm on the inside. I love my all black interior -- it's not as distracting and stimulating as red.
Natural Red would probably be the interior color if I leased this car for 3 years. Since it's a keeper, I went with black.

Black you can see above, here is my runner-up choice.

Have you looked at the Cocoa interior? It's a dark brown, nothing like the tan or sand beige. This color only looks great with a white exterior. It's very original and would look awesome with the white stitching.
