Just intake and exhaust, NO software, any results?

just wondering how much power can be gained by JUST an intake and exhaust modification, with NO software upgrade.
Did anyone test this setup with just and intake and exhaust?

The Power is in the Tune.. The Bolt ons will pick up some and spool the car quicker but the HP gains is the Software.. Here is an Example..

I assume you didn't do the ECU tune. Glad to hear you like it, that's what I plan on doing until the CPO runs out. Unless my patience runs out first.
yup it is great, stirs the senses...AP intake, Tubi exhaust, perfect for me, maybe when warranty is over do a tune

Not 45,000$, crate price for a new engine.
The dealer's 'ok' with it means sh$t to PCNA, there is no way PCNA is going to look the other way with a significant engine claim just because of the stealer's word, the dealer has zero input into those decisions. With mods like ECU flashes you are taking your own risk, to imply otherwise is simply not true.
Granted, the motor (997.1tt) is bulletproof, but nothing is free. More HP=more stress on mechanical parts.

That goes without saying for any mod though.. if they can prove the exhaust blew the motor its out the door too..
What I personally dont understand is this.. " wait til your warranty is up then mod it ".. well if it blows then you can be 100% sure youll be paying out of pocket.. however if it blows during the warranty period you still have good chance to be covered.. Adding software to your car doesnt void you A/C and power steering warranty so why wait til its out when you know 100% if it blows your screwed??

You're grasping at straws, Mike. Anybody who wants to mod the ECU should be well aware of the risks, it's not the same as an exhaust. Modifying the engines operating parameters by altering the on board computer is a whole different deal to any manufacturer.
I did it, but I was fully aware of the risks. I'm not saying don't 'mod' your car, just be careful before you cross the ECU line into no-mans warranty land. When they void your warranty for something like that, the entire warranty is done, as it clearly states in the owners manual, happened to a good friend of mine with a gt3 last yr.
I'm just sayin'.....

PCNA can and probably would try to void the entire warranty, even if failure of a component/system was unrelated to the modification. Legally, of course, they can't do this as I understand it (Magnuson-Moss). What happens in reality....well, that's probably a different situation altogether.
ok...back to the original question. I have a 4S, not a turbo. I did exhaust and intake first. Improved overall sound.....little HP gain if at all. These mods are sold with a 10-20HP gain.....dunno if I noticed it...but that's ok. I later did an EVOMSit tune and headers. Maximized airflow.....big difference in power throughout the entire power band.
