Spyder RS Wheels

Any way to retrofit an '08 997TT so that it can accept the '10 Spyder RS wheels with the central locking mechanism? How much do you guys think that would cost?

Thanks in advance!

We offer two kits, one kit is made specifically for the PCCB's. You would reuse all of your stock brake components. Click HERE for more info.

Ah thanks! For once something for PCCBs is cheaper! Haha I guess it's b/c you don't get brake components....

If I purchased the set for non-PCCBs could I effectively change my car back to the regular braking system? Not saying I want to, but I am certainly dreading when I'm told I need to replace PCCB components....

I think so....you could still need calipers though.

I just want to understand. Does the state price include all the parts necessary to convert, plus wheels plus tires? That's what it seems to say.

If so, that seems like a great price.

I think this is great price for what come with the kit. for $8K you get 4 wheels and tires, 2 calipers, pads, rotors, Center locking system, hardware, and removal key. You can have your used front brake kit sell for around 1.5K. Lots of 996TT are looking for this upgrade! I will be the first to line up to get a used set of 997TT front brake kit!

Yes, the kit comes with everything required to complete the conversion. Wheels, tires, center locks, hardware, etc. On cars with cast-iron brakes, new brake components are also included (PCCB version reuses all stock brakes).
If you were to source your own aftermarket wheels, the center lock kit can be purchased by itself. Depending on the car/configuration, the center lock bits alone are approximately $2500.00.

It comes with an installation guide, I'm sure a high-end Porsche tuner or dealer could do it.
