chill down. Dont underestimate Karol's 997, he has a custom tune.

Dont underestimate US 997 Tuners, they build nice cars.

Relax.

Just put your dbn files and let the crowd talk.

Good WE guys!

I just come back from a little run:

-AT was 12°C

-100-200: at least 10 tests, best 6.1', and 6.2', worst 6.5', average 6.4'
notice the best was not the first.
So Ok, Ics do a better job than 997.1s

-100-300: only 1 cause a bit of traffic and I do not want to overtake at speeds, so I have to run between 2 cars and slow down when close to them...
So time: 23.9'

I did a standing kilometer too: 20.8', trap speed 270, but conservative launch: 0-100 in 4.3' and 200 in 11.2'.

For memory: 997.1 6spd Upgraded VTGs - Agip 98 Eurosuper - 1 person in -12°C AT - PZero Corsa - no wind

Stay tuned!

Hey good numbers!

May I suggest you to try Shell Vpower 100OCT, it does not seem much different from the Agip 98, but it makes a sensible difference IMO. The car runs much smoother and stronger on boost..

I took Agip cause it was the lonely 98' available close to me, usually I run Elf, but I would "love" running better gas like 100' or more, but not available there...
I thought buying Octan booster to try, but all what I find seem to me BS.
(Bardahl, etc...)

2 things:
-I think now with very low AT like <5°C my car could hit the 6' to 5.9'
-The 997.2Ics permit me to run faster than the 997.1s at 10°C AT higher, we will see when 20°C...

I have the aquamist methanol kit which is the best octane booster. I always run on racefuel map.

Also you need to check how incline/decline the road you are running is

I thought about Aquamist, but I'm scarred thinking about an issue like leak or mistake injection in cylinders, liquid is not compressible...

I did my runs "go" and "back" same road, I can not send the dbn files cause lost the card (always between cars and PC...). (only got phone pics of Vbox)
But the best time was done in the (very) little inclined way (?),
I think the little wind (almost nothing) was in this way too, helping me a bit when inclined and braking me a bit when declined (did 6.2 this way).

this is what I found in old racelogic files

--------------- Best results ---------------
Time 22:59 Date 12/05/2010

Speed(kmh) Time(s)
0-60 01.5
0-100 03.4
0-200 08.4
100-200 05.0
0-100-0 77.1

but I had a problem with blow of valves that time and cut of on the first and second gear.
now I'm doing 3,1 to 100km/h will show pictures soon.

NORMAL FUEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

100-200 5.02sec and 200-300 11.89sec on vtgs. Measurements with half tank and GT2RS coolers. 2 people onboard (skandalis being the passenger.)
9 ambient, IAT 39 degrees at 300kms.
Probably possible to improve with run with driver only but these figures were indeed a surprise (or a shock i should say). More detailed report on IC comparison (logs, videos etc) to follow in the IC thread of dimitris..
