What a complete utter load of knackers. Thats not how you race. First time they hit it at what looks to be around 80ks not even lined up properly and not at the same time and then the next time they arent even lined up. That's pathetic. If they were serious they would have launched from a standing start at the same time....then lets see the result.

I guess with these mixed results this proves that even with dual clutches anything can happen on the street. I personally don't think the 585 hp GT-R will win many of those battles. The PDK Turbo is a beast in acceleration.

Too true, utterly useless. The Pcar is slowing on the roll to let the GTR catch up and the GTR powers off as he comes even, getting a GREAT rolling start that is hard to overcome.

 

Based on the power - they are almost equal.

Transmission - about equal.

Results - depends on who launches better (which tires will hold on - was there a pebble underneath a tire - etc...).

This will always be a close race.

+1 on the tuned TT and the outcome would've been different. Perhaps we should wait for the '12 GT-R and compare THAT to the 997tt. Seems to be a 'more' fair race. In stock trim the Turbo PDK should consistently beat the current GT-R.

 

There is also another clip of an HKS570 GT-R running a PDK. At this level, everything depends on the race itself. It can go either way.

 

The PDK is a beast. Very impressive for it to run with a decently modded GT-R like that. The 997.2TT PDK never ceases to amaze me.
