Yeah, but still untouchable for mid $80s... As far as the maintenance of the Ceramics, I would say no worries unless you are approcahing 50-60-70k miles.

Quattro, I am in the exact same boat as you . I'd love the PCCB option but the ones I saw so far are in the high $90's.

Sonic i think you and i might even be looking at some of the same cars...Beverly Hills, Barrier(white), Newport (grey), Private deal in Glendale (blue 10,000 miles), and GMG's WC car which is on sale again in Canoga Park after changing hands last month(wonder whats up with this one).

There seems to be more private deals listed on autotrader.com. I checked porsche.com for CPO's and there's a couple of decent looking deals on there as well. Good luck with your purchase, and if i get any pertinent info on my searches that may be helpful to you, i'll be sure to pass it on....

Like i mentioned earlier i did find one car with approx 7k miles, ceramics, rear axle diff, sport chrono, sport adaptive seats, heated seats, nav, and headrest crests for high 80's- low 90's (listed for low 90) and it got scooped up faster than i could blink.

From what I have researched on the ceramics, the rotors will basically last the life of the car (assuming no track use). The pads last generally 3X as long as the steel, so cost is basically similar for replacements. The yellow color calipers also generate massive amounts of awesomeness leading to increased self esteem (which is priceless).

Quattro, are you in the market for a 6 MT only? I am looking for tips and not too many tips with PCCB out there. The ones that are for sale are untouchable by my budget.

Yup..i'm strictly looking at 6 MT cars only. I've basically tried the entire spectrum of DSG, DCT, and S-Tronic gearboxes and just decided i'd rather stick to rowing my own gears. I won't be driving the car everyday so i'm not worried about sludging threw traffic all the time....

Getz..i agree the yellows do come with a certain amount of announced awesomeness, however i'll probably never really exploit them the way they are intended to be....
