Thank you, the Turbo is obviously a totally different type of driving experience. Good thing its a monster otherwise I might miss some of the creature comforts my M5 has! The power is much more brutal than the M5, now I have to get my right ankle warmed up for heel toe driving again.

I definitely got love for M cars but to me, the M3/5/6 are good overall cars... nothing spectacular. I really don't miss mine at all

Congrats again!

Hey Florida,

Glad to see the car in your driveway. I got my 997 last Monday in Atlanta . Flew down and drove it back to Montana in two days with a total of 7 hrs sleep. Should have done delivery like yourself... most major highways are under construction thanks to the the American Recovery Act!!!! The newly installed Speedfilm also saved the front from a couple of major rock impacts and I recommend it to anyone who owns a car of this caliber. Hopefuly we'll meet one day and have a couple of cold Stellas

ps: love the Montana sign with all the bullet holes

Congratulations from another former M5 driver! It was a great car but you won't miss it. It's funny how every M5 owner "graduates" to 997tt.

Thanks guys i actually had a Tubi Rumore on the M5 with springs, it sounded great.

Been doing tons of research for mods and first few things will be H&R springs and spacers along with sways then.......an exhaust. I love the sound of the FVD cat bypass and Rhonda is literally down the street fr my house!

Thanks again guys,
Ken

congrats on a beauty of a car. Reminds me of the day my own car arrived not that long ago. I had the MRoadster (model year 2000) not an M5 but it was obviously in a different power class. Enjoy it in good health!

Congrats man!

The yellow TT I just got had similar mileage/options/price as yours. I don't think it has sport seats but the rest matches.

I flew to Cincinnati to pick up mine and drove it back

I have a BMW too but I'm not selling it just yet (e46 M3 SMG)

With CPO I'm holding off on engine mods. Going to buy a mobridge for Bluetooth + ipod/iPhone soon, then suspension is next. Probably not going full coilover route, just springs, sways, extra camber, and bushings where it makes sense.
