I have been a huge fan of Vorsteiner for several years as they make some nice products for the Porsche 997 Carrera, 997 Turbo, and most all BMW models. They have even come out with some amazing parts for the Ferrari, IS-F, C63, and even SLR! Most people have seen the current kit on our Porsche 997 Turbo as pictured below.

Now Vorsteiner has stepped up the game for the 2007-2011 Porsche 997 Turbo owners and is releasing this NEW front end design. This new design will be available in their DVWP or all carbon fiber. Of course, the bumper includes the new redesigned carbon fiber lower front chin spoiler and carbon fiber radiator ducts. It includes the OEM GT3 hood grill or you can get an aftermarket carbon fiber unit from us as well.

New Front Bumper Design

Has a pretty big grin, I am about 80% on this one Dan, good job nonetheless!

 

I will be getting this bumper and rear bumper to do the LED swap. So stay tuned to actual fitment images

 

At first glance, they look similar. However, the lower lip appears better integrated on the new bumper. Looks nice.

 

radiator openings are more squared off and appear to be "deeper". Front lip is all the way around and flatter which I prefer actually.

 

Not my preference - makes the lip extend unnaturally out from the front of the car IMHO. Not keeping with the overall shape of the 997 turbo. Just my thoughts.

 

Overall I like it. VERY clean lines which I think is good. Lower part of the bumper piece is a little Audi RS4esque and the big gaping holes remind me of 996 GT2 maybe?!?!?
Always love seeing new designs and Vorsteiner certainly has some great products/ideas!

Tis a big grin..... but much much better than the other one.
In fact imo its the best complete front bumper change ive seen to date for the 997tt. Well done!!
