Tires woes
For those of you that are using a spare, what are you using for a jack? My TT is lowered, add to that a flat tire and most of the portable jacks out there will not fit under the rear jack point.
Porsche told me to call ahead the Porsche dealers on your route to see if they have the tires (front and rear) in stock before going on a trip.
Around town no problem because I keep a front and rear tire in the garage for emergencies. I was caught with a blow out. This having a plug kit and jack etc, doesn't work; tow trucks have these, nor does having a space saving spare because you can damage the front differential within short distances which I am sure Porsche will not pay for. I feel the same, the next performance car will have a spare....It is just hard to believe the time loss that goes on with a blow-out and no spare, that is something you really got to experience to understand the misery it causes.
