Cost to install exhaust system ... ?

I'm going to have a shop install my Cargraphic exhaust ...the loud version. I was wondering what some of you have paid to have aftermarket exhaust systems installed.

My FVD was like $650 at the Porsche dealer .... I tho't this was a bit on the high side of what I had expected.

I'd be interested in what others have paid.

Thanx.

Bagger

Glad you went with Cargraphic,am sure RSSBryan made you a great deal.

I payed $400 for the install when my OEM was replaced with an after market exhaust.
If you are replacing an after market exhaust with another it should be cheaper as the OEM is a b%$ to get off.

it's a 3-hour job. I've done it twice myself. Shouldn't cost you more than $400 from an independent shop.

$400.00 must be the number. That is what my Porsche Dealer charged me to replace factory with AWE. Included was mounting AWE tips but they would have had to install the factory tips if I didn't have the AWEs anyway.

Thanx for the help, guys. I ordered a CG Super Sound Export system from Bryan at RSS this afternoon. RSS was excellent to deal with .... very smooth and professional. Plus, I got a terrific deal ! I'm stoked !

Looking forward to the unit arriving and hooking that puppy up to the Turbo. I need more sound for sure.

Now, I wondering if I should get some satin black dual tips to install, too. I have a satin black Turbo logo to replace the plastic chrome one .... hmmmm? Decisions, decisions. Fabspeed black chrome dual tips?

Yes to changing to dual round tip! I would do it at the same time as exhaust installation so there is no possible labor charge for installing tip later on (doubt anyone will ding you for installing tip but one never knows). Have Fabspeed dual tip on my car and love it. Black chrome is fine, but the perfect match for your car IMHO would be to ceramic coat the tip. And guess who does that: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...aust-tips.html

I should note mine is polished steel and therefore I have no experience with the durability of ceramic coat. I am sure Bryan could tell you. I am not too hot on the black chrome stuff and for your car with the black satin logo, my vote is very strongly for the satin tip over the black chrome.

BTW, RSS sells the EVOMS tip I think. Made by Fabspeed and same as Fabspeed except it costs 100 or so more, to the best of my knowledge (anyone corrects me as needed). Fabspeed/EVOMS tip is recommended because I know for sure it fits flushed with the bumper. Some other dual tip might stick out an inch or so from the bumper and personally I don't like that. YMMV. Pic of my car below -- this is the polished steel finish.

Thanx, Can ....

My car is midnight blue/blue top .... the polished SS is nice, too. But, wondered if a more sedate look with satin black Turbo logo and dual tips would be a bit understated.

I do like the Fabspeed dual tips, tho. Polished SS is fine as well.
