Wheels for Midnight Blue .... ??

I'm getting the mod bug .... CG exhaust system, FS black chrome tips ... thinking of flashing the car, too.

But, I've always disliked the '09 Turbo wheels. And, they have not grown on me. The 2010s are better IMO.

Anyway ... my car is midnight blue with a blue cab top. I did a search looking for various wheel combos with this car color, but did not find much.

I'm open for some suggestions. HRE makes some nice designs. I'm not sure I want the standard polished or silver painted wheels. I'd prefer something different .... I've not seen a dark wheel with a polished lip on a dark car like mine. Anyone know of something like this?

Also, I'm open to suggestions. Yeah, I know we all have our favorite look, but I'm open to recommendations. Especially something more colorful or unusual.

Thanx.

I have the same color car but a 996tt, my avatar photo shows black wheels, but I stayed with the silver factory finish on my champion wheels.. when I fitted my car with black wheels it cheapened the look of the car.. but in photos it does look good.. I was going to try a gunmetal grey color... something to think about... good luck.. show us some photos before and after.

I just bought a TTS in dark blue. Like you. I thought about changing the wheel color to something darker (perhaps gun metal), but I ultimately elected to retain the OEM color of the center locks. IMHO, it's a smart contrast.

Brushed aluminum always looks good on midnite.

You could go brush alum. gunmetal gray or try something a little different and do a bronze or flat gold color wheel..

I contemplated painting/powder coating the OEM RS Spyder center lock wheels a different color (gunmetal grey or black) but, after looking at bizzilions of photos of blue cars with different color wheels, I decided that the OEM matt silver/grey color worked the best. While I love black wheels (my 996TT had black wheels), I personally do not like the way they look on dark blue cars (look great on medium blue). Likewise, gunmetal grey is very stealthy against dark blue, and I came close to going this route, but I like the contrast of the OEM color better:

Brushed is always nice or even charcoal. That's what I've usually done.

This is Fabspeed's page ... What color are these wheels? I like simple spokes, too. Nothing "busy, or complicated". Perhaps something like this with a polished lip?

Plus, with the satin black Turbo logo and black chrome FS tips ... what do you think? I think there are better simple spoked wheels, tho.

I'm partial to white wheels.

This is my 997 on white OZ Allegrittas.

I wanted something a bit different as well.

I have midnight blue and got the factory ****s replicas. I love the looks. Considered Champion RG5 with a black center and brushed HRE P40s. All good looks, I wanted the retro look.
